Help us grow
We teach our little farmers that we each have two hands, one for giving and one for receiving.
Please donate to support our work in the community. All donations, big or small, are gratefully received. Our project is completely reliant on the gifting and generosity of others that share our vision of communities that grow their own solutions.
Regular giving - Friends of Common Unity
Regular giving is vital for our ongoing growth, as it means we know our income and can plan our spending. 100% of donations received will help ensure our children have access to regular, healthy meals and are part of a supportive community. We believe that every child should and can be a part of a village. Donations will be put towards growing the produce that fuels our kitchen, providing beautiful nourishment to create meals for our community, and ultimately the creation of meals for our children.
If you’re able to give regularly (weekly, fortnightly, monthly for example), an amount that you are comfortable with, we invite you to set up an automatic payment online through your bank and join our community;
Kiwibank account: 38-9015-0629515-07
Here’s an indication of what your donation will be put towards - any donation and any amount is incredibly valued;
$6.00 (Provide 2 meals to a child)
$12.00 (Provide 4 meals to a child)
$42.00 (Provide 14 weeks of meals to a child)
$100.00 (Provide 33 meals to a child (5 weeks worth)
$250.00 (Provide 83 meals to a child (3 months worth)
You can also download an Automatic Payment form here to take into your bank.
We are able to provide a receipt for tax purposes (you can claim up to one third back from donations over $5). Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to talk further and to receive a donor information kit.
We would also like to ensure we have your details for receipts and updates on our projects.
Payroll giving is another option for donating regularly. Money is taken straight from your salary with tax credits applied immediately each time you’re paid making the process super easy! Ask your employer if they offer this service or find out more from IRD.
We’re also happy to receive donations straight into our Kiwibank account: 38-9015-0629515-07.
Cheques can be made out to The Common Unity Project and posted to us:

The Good Registry - Donating is another way of gifting to whānau and friends
If you're celebrating a special event and don't want or need gifts, you can get your friends and whānau to donate to the Common Unity Project Aotearoa instead.
Just register your special event with The Good Registry or buy a Good Gift Card to pay the goodness forward.
We’re big on sustainability and the reuse of unwanted items, so get in touch if we can give new life to something you no longer need.
We always welcome donations of:
seeds and seedlings

quality kitchen equipment
quality wools and knitting needles
knitted squares for our children’s blankets
knitted clothing and accessories
quality fabrics, sewing machines and equipment
